• In SAP S/4HANA Finance, you can’t use group reporting and Enterprise Controlling - Consolidation (EC-CS) in the same system / client.
• To use group reporting, you need to install best practice content delivered by SAP, then only you can configure the system.
• In the best practice content SAP has delivered dimension Y-Company, which need to be used and supported by SAP.
• If you need to consolidate in different currencies, then you need to create different consolidation ledger and version.
• You can create a version, but you can’t delete a version.
• Period category 9 is already defined for monthly consolidation, SAP allows to create different period category, but it has limited use.
• SAP delivered content comes with predefined FS item attributes. Creation of new attributes in not supported.
• Automatic posting of net income to balance sheet and income statement does not carry profit center and segments.
• Drill through report of group reporting does not navigate to original document.
