Today I want to show you how to manage info objects in SAP BW/4 HANA cockpit. Just info objects I get a list of all the info objects in the system I choose my info object the system displays latest ten requests I can change this and also of the status filter. I can select the subtype of the infoOobject but before the request for the attributes are displayed I click on the request ID to display details of the request and the processes I can see the history I can clean the change lock once the request was updated all targets are previously activated and updated data is then deleted from the change log I returned to the request overview by choosing open requests I can open a specific request if I already know its ID under further actions are find different administrative tasks by choosing delete data I can delete records I can maintain the master data I can manually create or change attributes and texts depending on the complexity of my characteristic I can edit the entries on four tabs one for time independent values one for time dependent values one for texts and one for XXL attributes by choosing add line I can create new master data by choosing the lead I can flag master data that is not used for deletion it is only deleted when are safe however it is more convenient to delete master data via further actions delete which are pointed out before by choosing were used I can generate a very used list and call it via the application log when I expand the header I get an overview of the properties of the infoobject remember you can always get context-sensitive help by clicking on the question mark that's it so far I hope that I gave you a good overview of how to manage info objects in the SOP vw4 HANA cockpit now it's your turn to try it out

I can also filter by status requests that have already been activated are not displayed I click on the request ID to  display details of the request and a process I can see the history I can change the master data if your request  has not been activated yet if the request has already been activated the master data can only be displayed I can activate the request by choosing activate or previous requests are then activated as well I go back to the request overview by choosing open requests I can open a specific request if I already know its ID under further actions I find different administrative tasks by choosing delete data I can delete data from the data store object I can delete data selectively this can be useful if a product is taken out of a product range I can delete all data from the data store object or I can delete

requests based  I can upload data from a CSV file I choose the file I like to upload  and mapping is automatically proposed in every column I can manually assign fields using either the drop-down menu or the input field by choosing cleansing divorce I can change settings for the check  but choosing upload I can then upload the data into the data store object by choosing advanced view of the details of the requests are presented differently when I expand the header I get an overview of the properties of the datastore object remember you can always get context-sensitive help by clicking on the question mark that's it so far I hope that gave you a good overview of how to manage data store objects in the SI PBW for Hana cockpit now it's your turn to try it out
